JA Data Report available here: https://jointaccreditation.org/sites/default/files/2021%20Joint%20Accreditation%20Data%20Report_976%2020221205.pdf

46:36
Will we ever have an activity type that is combined, e.g. a Live Course that also has content in it? Right now, that would be two different types of activities to report. Our Org often does this combo for learners. Attend a live class, and take a module prior to attending, and we give CE credit to both.

51:45
How do you define "Learner Interactions"?

52:00
Is there an update on the therapies joining JA, many of our “others” are OTs and PTs.

53:04
Just for clarification - Other learners should not include patients if the audience includes patients? We are just to report providers/professionals?

54:43
@Terry - great question, as Dion said - no need to go back and include them, but going forward if patients are learners in your accredited education, definitely count them.

55:24
We had included them in the numbers but the way I was interpreting his comments made me wonder if we were incorrect to do so. Thank you for the clarification. :)

01:01:26
What category would cover a mini-fellowship (ie.,a faculty physician from another organization spending time (less than two weeks) to learn a new skill in the clinical setting with another faculty physician. This is a new request and not a process we currently have in place.

01:02:11
I used mini-fellowship for lack of another title to use.

01:02:18
yes

01:02:32
not financial yet - the first piece is can we offer credit for such a thing

01:02:43
ok, we call reach out separately -

01:03:06
great thanks, that is our preference

01:04:02
Is there a place to see the data at a provider level? (No need to answer now; off-line is fine)

01:04:50
@Laura - each provider can see their own data in JA-PARS. We do not publish individual provider data - only the aggregate data provided in the Annual Data Report.

01:05:48
@ariana - thanks!

Will you be creating a report with examples of compliance/non-compliance?

01:13:49
(resource, not report)

01:14:43
We have grounded our design, evaluation, and measurement in the IPEC competency domains

01:14:47
I would like to know how other organizations collect data? Through evaluations, dashboards, or other methods?

01:16:06
teamwork

01:16:53
PVI has done the same and used in the evaluation of each activity. Easier to aggregate the program around the competencies

01:17:03
Evaluations and surveys

01:17:05
Evaluations, focus groups, and targeted six month follow ups

01:18:13
Would anyone be willing the share their evaluation questions surrounding the IPCE comps?

01:18:21
evaluations and focus groups. we've added team focused questions to our evals and provide discussion guides to our attendees to help them communicate what they learned to their team

01:18:56
Would like to hear how the impact to the team data is gathered when the individual learners are all from different organizations

01:18:56
@sarah - would you be willing to share an example of the discussion guide?

01:20:01
yes, feel free to email me sbal@nhpco.org. we also ask faculty to address it as their last slide of the presentation and give attendees tips on how to discuss the content with their team

01:20:11
Thanks!

01:20:17
patients too

01:22:25
Hello, to confirm. Financial disclosures are required for all clinical content activities, correct? And to disclose it to the learners. For nonclinical activities, do we collect financial disclosures? Or not, since it's not based on patient care/products used on patients.

01:25:05
No disclosures to collect if non clinical

01:25:55
Can you discuss what the eligibility criteria are for becoming a volunteer surveyor for JA?

01:25:58
Thank you for the clarification.

01:26:46
You can find the exception to Standard 3 right in the Standard: https://accme.org/accreditation-rules/standards-for-integrity-independence-accredited-ce/standard-3-identify-mitigate-and-disclose-relevant-financial-relationships

01:26:48
Non-clinical education can still request credit as clinical education would?

01:26:51
Would anyone be willing to share how they collect COI? Interested to know if anyone is using a survey platform?

01:26:52
Thank you!

01:27:19
Yes, providers can still award/designate the appropriate credit for all JA activities.

01:27:38
@stephanie Holley - we collect it through our CE/CME management platform.

01:27:49
CHA uses Qualtrics to collect COIs.

01:28:10
We also use Qualtrics to collect COIs

01:28:31
We use our conference management software as well as Microsoft forms for smaller activities.

01:28:47
Thank you!

01:29:02
we use our CE management platform to collect COIs.

01:31:30
We use our CE Admin site. It saves their info and lets them update for the next offering they do

01:33:20
UW-Madison ICEP uses the AAMC-Convey system.

01:34:49
Here are the slides for today's meeting -- so you can reference these tips later!

01:35:06
Thanks, Melody!

01:38:23
Journal of Interprofessional Education and Practice can be added to this list.

01:40:38
Thanks, Jennifer. Very helpful.

01:41:35
Yes, please. I'd love to see that column.

01:41:36
That would be cool Jennifer

01:41:52
Agree

01:42:23
Thanks so much Jennifer - very helpful.

01:50:46
I've heard of quite a few providers whose institutions have limited travel budgets. Will there be a virtual option?

01:51:27
Lebron is our key note?

01:53:09
Agree with Laura. We cannot send a team to in person and have already turned in our budget for 2023. ☹️

01:54:00
Can you clarify: there is a separate fee for the JA summit on top of the ACCME registration fee?

01:54:13
Publisher has granted permission for me to share the column - we will get it to you.

01:54:17
I agree that hybrids are tough to administer!

01:55:06
Great, Jennifer! Thank you!

01:55:11
Can someone from AAPA or JA speak to the proposed name change from Physician Assistant to Physician Associate and whether or not there is something that we as providers should be doing right now to change our certificates, accreditation statements, etc.?

01:55:34
https://www.aapa.org/title-change/general-faqs/

01:55:37
This is helpful

01:55:42
Marcia: Do you have the fees schedule for the two separate conferences?

01:55:59
Can you please clarify requirement for disclosure by "reviewers" to address specifically CME reviewers when they are not serving as "independent reviewers"? For example, when a CME representative reviews the application and planning committee/faculty disclosures to determine whether independent review is required.

01:56:06
Thank you

01:56:26
Will there be a poster session?

01:56:26
Great. Thank you.

01:57:38
@Tracy - we do not have posters for just JA planned this year, but it's a wonderful suggestion for future summits. Also, there is a poster session for the ACCME meeting that Summit registrants will have access to.

01:59:30
Many thanks!
