I have connected with our Diversity & Inclusion committee and shared some of the resources I received from the summit with the education sub-committee.

We have added an inclusion/diversity question to our planning forms to get planners thinking about this topic during the early stages of the planning process.

Capitalizing on technology to cope with COVID-19 challenges.

Thinking about need to be able to track compliance before and after an activity is offered (circle back w/ feedback). Tech involved with standards compliance tracking.

Incorporating implicit bias as part of the content in CE courses.

Please do that in our next Summit.

Kate, for the repeated activities note - can we do a batch upload if we are having a live webinar, then turning the recording into a 12 month enduring?

You won't have to indicate the reporting year any longer. You will just enter the start date and end date.

How quickly do participation numbers move from CPE Monitor to JAPARS? And will these be included on the dashboard?

If we use a webservice for reporting to JAPARS, when will our vendor be able to get details about the changes so they can complete updates to be ready for the launch of JAPARS? Thanks!

For Barbara Anderson - we hope to make the updated web services specifications in the February time frame. We will definitely make an announcement when they are available. As Kate indicated, the current web service will continue to work for a while before needing to switch.

Yes, on track to release new Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited CE before end of 2020. Transition timeline and resources (toolkit) will be included...to allow providers time to implement!

Hello - these changes are great!! Curious if the page limit to the self study is going to remain 150 pages including attachments? I am aware this does not include abstracts.

For the enduring, with no reporting year, if the activity spans over 2 or 3 years would we only report it only when it ends? or still yearly with the start and end date

Hi Tim. You would only need to enter the activity once, inputting the start and end date spanning the time the activity will be available. We will ask you to update the participant counts on a regular basis, but you won't need to re-enter the activity each year.

For Tim again, we would ask you to enter the activity once it becomes available so you can enter the counts regularly, rather than waiting until the activity is over.

Tammie, the generation of the JAUAN should be similar as to what you are doing now. We are still working on some of the details.

I am looking for some guidance and/or ideas on how programs are monitoring psychologist participation in order to meet the APA attendance requirements. In particular, multi-session, live virtual education that allows the learner to manage their engagement. We want to avoid accrediting each session separately in a multi-session activity.
